Successful build of automata in Unity, using Jhon Conway’s four basic rules for creating the Game of Life,

  • Under population. Any live cell with fewer than two live neighbours dies.
  • Over population. Any live cell with more than three live neighbours dies.
  • Reproduction. Any dead cell with exactly three live neighbours becomes a live cell.
  • Sustainability. Any live cell with two or three live neighbours lives on to the next generation.

The true reference here is Andrew Gallimore’s representation and analogy for subatomic particles and the start of the race for complexity. A true inspiration and a perfect door opener to the next layers of mind blowing wonders the hypergrid holds.
